Tuscany Trail: the largest bikepacking event in the world arrives in Grosseto.
From the 1 to the 9 June more than 4000 cyclists, coming from 40 nations, will participate in the Tuscany Trail, the largest bikepacking event in the world. Starting from donoratico and following a GPS track, participants will independently cross an adventure circuit that will take them to admire the beauties of numerous municipalities in the southern part of Tuscany such as Cinigiano, Campagnatico, Civitella Paganico and Grosseto.
“The event, now in its tenth edition, includes very varied routes and mainly includes the famous dirt roads that distinguish the territories of the Tuscan hills – declare the mayor Antonfrancesco Vivarelli Colonna and the tourism councilor Riccardo Megale – Given the characteristics landscape, environmental and climatic aspects that make the Municipality of Grosseto the ideal context for all activities related to the bicycle, a sustainable means of transport that facilitates the discovery of many hidden details, the Administration deemed it appropriate to participate in this splendid national initiative".
