“Trieste cocktail week” from 9th to 15th September in 23 public establishments in the city centre

The third edition of “Trieste Cocktail Week”, an event dedicated to quality mixology scheduled for September 9-15, was presented at a press conference in the Sala Giunta of the Town Hall.

The speakers included the deputy mayor and councilor for economic policies Serena Tonel; for the organization Alberto Polojac and Filippo Vidiz of Freshmedia; for Nonino, the main sponsor of the event, Antonella Nonino.

Deputy Mayor Serena Tonel stated:: “I would like to thank the organizers of the event, in full harmony with the strategic objective of the municipal administration to promote the excellent agri-food chain, of the whole of Friuli Venezia Giulia and not only of Trieste, which must in fact act as a showcase for the entire region.

This year's edition is characterized as always by great mixology professionals and high-quality ingredients but also by the participation of new operators and the combination with the catering sector that combines drinking and food".

The initiative will involve one week 17 cocktail bars, four restaurants and for the first time two shops, for a total of 23 businesses in the city centre: they will offer a long list of proposals to best enhance quality products and expert mixes.

New this year is the offer dedicated to low and no alcohol drinks and the increase in important brands that join the event, among which Martini also stands out.

THE PLACES INVOLVED: they are 040 Social Food, Antico Caffè San Marco, Antico Caffè Torinese, Bar Buffet Borsa, Corte Caffè, Draw, Harry's Bar, La Muta, Mast, Mor, N'JOY Food&Drink, The Modernist Hotel, Pier the Roof, Rex Cafè Gourmet, Silk Bistrot, Urban Caffè, Wolf Bar. And then Ai Fiori, Cantina del Vescovo, Còntime, Eataly, Hotel Continentale and Magna. All the venues are present on a map, which will be distributed in the city and which can also be found on the website https://triestecocktailweek.it.

TCW FORMULA: the event includes a special drink list present in the participating venues, which in the 2024 edition have also included some non-alcoholic and low-alcohol cocktails, an important innovation, strongly desired by the creators of the Trieste Cocktail Week, to present the public with an offer that expands the audience of people ready to enjoy the bartenders' creations. But the TCW also includes masterclasses with industry experts and spectacular competitions that will see the bartenders compete. The sponsor of the competitions will be Martini. The competitions, in detail, will be two Speed ​​Rounds and the new Mystery, scheduled during the Closing Party at the Pier the Roof which will be held on Sunday 15 September from 18 pm.
