Trento Aperta, the program of the week: archaeology, music and much more

The Trento Aperta events continue, la cultural event that brings adults and children to experience the city.

Lots of appointments for the start of the week.

Open vegetable garden.

Today, Monday 22nd, and Thursday 25th from 18pm to 20pm, citizens will be able to participate in the care activities of the open garden in via Medici. Thanks to the availability of the active citizens who signed the pact “Open Vegetable Garden 4.0”, the city community will be able to get to know the green space, visit it, help with the work and take advantage of the cultivated products.

The garden will be open to visitors during the summer on Mondays and Thursdays from 18pm to 20pm.

Meano volleyball court.

Tomorrow, Tuesday 23rd, and Wednesday 24th from 19pm to 21pm the gates of the volleyball court in Meano, near the De Carli school, they will be open to anyone who wants to do two dribbles in company.

Tuesday will be the day dedicated to under 16s, while Wednesday will be dedicated to over 17s.

The opening and use of the pitch by the community is the result of the collaboration pact #Insiemealvolo, signed between the Municipality and the informal group of active citizens “Friends of the Meano pitch”.

Archeology and music

Immersed in the excavations on Dos Sant'Agata, tomorrow, Tuesday 23rd, from 17.30pm are everyone is invited to spend an afternoon dedicated to archeology and music.

The teacher Elisa Powerful, Professor of medieval archaeology at the University of Trento, with his team will explain the outcome of the excavations conducted so far and the hypotheses that the findings suggest about the ancient settlements. The presentation will be accompanied by the notes of the Celtic harp of maestro Michele Valcanover.

The event, organized by the Povo District, it is free and open to all citizens.

jam session

Tomorrow, Tuesday 23 July, from 18.30pm to 22pm in the Solzhenitsyn Garden (formerly Santa Chiara) you will be able to listen to good music made in a jam session. The event is part of the collaboration agreement “A Collaborative Park” signed between the Municipality, various citizens and local associations with the aim of making this green lung of the city a place where anyone can feel welcomed.

Yoga in the garden

On Wednesday 24th from 19.30pm to 21pm the Orto Aperto in via Medici will host a yoga lesson. Participation is free, but a free donation is welcome.

The initiative is promoted by active citizens who are protagonists of the collaboration agreement “Open Vegetable Garden 4.0” e it repeats every Wednesday of July at the same time.

Neighborhoods in music.

The series of Quartieri in musica events continues at the Predara Park on Wednesday 24th at 21pm will see perform a series of music by Genoese singer-songwriters Elena Buttiero on the digital piano together with Ferdinando Molteni as narrator.

The project is the result of a collaboration agreement “A park for San Martino” signed between the Municipality and numerous entities to take care of and enhance the Predara Park, a place central and identifying for the San Martino district.
