La Spezia, white Christmas night happened, over 10 thousand people invaded the city center

Over 10 thousand people yesterday they invaded the streets of the center on the occasion of the first White Night of Christmas.

A great success that saw the streets of the center come alive thanks to the shows in the city squares and at the THE JINGLE BELLS BAND, a formidable traveling musical band made up of eight musicians in Santa Claus costumes with wind and percussion instruments that contributed to the festive atmosphere and instilled good humor.

From late afternoon until evening, citizens and tourists attended the performances of various artists in Piazzetta del Bastione, in Largo Dantisti Spezzini, such as Paolo Masi, the Italian double of Jovanotti who performed together with the Joya Band. And again Uncle Potter entertained the little ones with a magic show, just as Renato the Scientist and Prof. Luca Videodanz had done before him. A varied program suitable for everyone which contributed to liven up a fantastic evening of music, shows and entertainment which accompanied the people of La Spezia in their Christmas shopping. The lighting of the church was also held in the afternoon “Great Star of Solidarity between Generations” positioned on the Arengario of the Municipality in a Piazza Europa animated by musical groups and the show of the acrobats of the Acrobatic Building. The presence of a huge and colorful hot air balloon anchored in Piazza Europa made the ceremony even more evocative.

The White Night of Christmas it was the first major event which will see a full program of initiatives, over one hundred, animate the city for over a month, until January 8th.

Appointment in the next few days with the markets of ingenuity and hobbyists under the arcades from via Chiodo to via Veneto, shows dedicated to the little ones in Piazza Brin with Games under the tree and even readings at the civic playroom and workshops in the civic museums and shows at the theater Civic. And on Christmas Day the chapiteau will be inaugurated immersed in the historic gardens of the city in the external area of ​​the PIN where the most important street artists will perform.

And again on weekends CHRISTMAS STREET PARADE, a series of traveling shows through the streets of the city with acrobats and dancers.
