La Spezia: “a drink at the museum” returns to the Lia Museum 

Last appointment with the “drinks at the Museum” after the great success of the previous ones thematic tours of the A. Lia Museum Collection in English, curated by art historian Tara Keny.

Thursday 8 June at 18pm the guided tour entitled "Life as a King: stories of power and devotion in art / Living royal: tales of power and devotion in art” at the end of which it will be possible to do one wine tasting from a local winemaker, CheO Winery, which will take place in the cloister of the Museum, whose maintenance is entrusted to the Garden Club of La Spezia which selects and alternates flowers in harmony and dialogue with the floral representations of the Lia Collection.

The event will start at 18pm and tickets will be on sale for 00 euros. They will be included in the price entrance to the museum, tour in English and aperitif in the garden (or inside in case of rain). At the end of the tour, guests will be able to explore the Museum and its treasures freely.

Il wine it is generously sponsored by Cantina CheO. Un glass of their wine will be offered to each guest by the owner of the winery in person, who will be able to present the product and answer any questions. The production ranges across various qualities of DOC wines, including the famous local passito Sciacchetra'. The winery is located in Vernazza, not far from the monorail historically used to transport bunches of grapes through the steep vineyard distributed in typical “terraced” fields. The entire winemaking process takes place in Vernazza, from pressing the grapes, to fermentation, maturation and refinement, up to bottling and labelling.
