La Spezia, the ninth edition of the "Run for Children" begins and the seventh edition of “Dog for Children”.
On Sunday 3 December, at 10.30 am, the Run for Children, the now traditional semi-competitive running event organized by the Amateur Sports Association Spezia Marathon DLF in collaboration with the Municipality of La Spezia, the proceeds of which will be donated to the Pediatrics of the Sant'Andrea hospital in La Spezia. Together with the Run For Children, you can also run with your four-legged friends in the Dog for Children now in its seventh edition.
The event was presented on Monday morning in a press conference by the sports councilor Marco Frascatore and Andrew Salerno, president of Spezia Marathon DLF. The doctor was also present at the conference Maria Franca Corona, head of the pediatric department of S. Andrea e Silvia De Luca by Kruk (main sponsor).
The race will start from Largo Fiorillo and is divided into two modes: "non-competitive", in which everyone can participate and "competitive", a race which is included in the national Fidal calendar and is valid as an absolute regional 5km road championship.
The race will start from Largo Fiorillo towards Molo Italia, to follow the Morin promenade towards Porto Mirabello, which will be covered inside it and then return to Molo Italia, where the foot race will end.
An event that combines sport and solidarity, because the entire proceeds will be donated to charity to the pediatrics and neonatal department of the “S. Andrea” of La Spezia.
Europa Park has made available 100 free passes for parking under Piazza Europa for those registered for the race, who will therefore be able to park for free.
