Edoardo Ratti, experimental archaeologist, obtained in 2004, at the University of Genoa, the Master Degree with thesis entitled: "Prehistory and its dissemination through interactive experimentation". Until 2001, you participated in archaeological excavations in Italy and abroad with universities and foreign and Italian superintendencies. She carries out experimental, imitative and popular archaeology, publishes scientific articles on experimental reproductions of artefacts and activities of prehistoric man. He is a collaborating member of the Italian Institute of Prehistory and Protohistory and a member of EXARC, an international association of experimental archaeologists and open-air museums.
Davide Vismaio is a freelance prehistoric archaeologist and lives between Liguria and Tuscany, in what is historically defined Lunigiana Historical, the land of the Roman colony of Luni. Curious for nature and inquirer due to professional deformation, it tends to meddle in unclear affairs which he uncovers during the archaeological investigation.
This adventure starts from one excavation in an Apuan necropolis in the Levant Ligurian frequented shortly before the arrival of the Romans. Some funerary objects that should not have been present are recovered in a tomb. The search for more information from foreign colleagues will take the protagonist to Portugal and then to Uzbekistan, also to look for clues regarding the suspicious death of a colleague which he witnessed.
