The events continue in the Feltrinelli bookshops of the city with a full calendar of events: the protagonist is the initiative "100 NEW GENERATION CLASSICS”. Not a simple reading proposal, but a path of exploration that originates from a question: "What will be the classics of our tomorrow?"

The booksellers laFeltrinelli responded by selecting 100 Italian and foreign titles, published from 2000 to today, with the aim of instilling reflection and comparison around the concept of "classic" and those books that have marked our lives.

The debate around the books that have marked our lives continues with the continuation of the Bookclub schedule already launched in April.

The second appointment will be held in Piazza Piemonte on 16 May at 18pm, hosted by bookseller LaFeltrinelli Enrica Antonini: the reading and discussion of The true story of the pirate Long John Silver (Hyperborea), a text chosen during the previous meeting. Those created in collaboration with My English School also continue, which will take place on 30 May on Normal People by Sally Rooney (Piazza Duomo) and on 10 May on Educated by Tara Westover (Corso Buenos Aires).

Among the authors of this month, a space for comics, starting on Wednesday 10th at 18 pm in Piazza Piemonte Terry Moore presents Serial (Bao Publishing), a great return of the American Maestro with a self-contained volume in which the protagonist is Zoe, the little girl possessed by the demonic entity Rachel Rising (free event with reservation on lafeltrinelli.it/eventi). It continues on Wednesday 30th at 17pm in Piazza Piemonte at the Spazio Comics&Games with Lou Lubie presenting E alla fine dio (Bao Publishing): a graphic novel that analyzes how historical contexts have influenced fairy tales and fables (free and free with reservation on lafeltrinelli.it/eventi). Teresa Radice and Stefano Turconi are the protagonists on Tuesday 18th at 30pm in Piazza Piemonte with Il contastorie (Bao Publishing), a comic set in Brazil in the 30s in which the protagonists are two brothers: the younger soon discovers that the older great is not the hero he thought but he is a smuggler (free and free event with reservation on lafeltrinelli.it/eventi).

Music remains the protagonist with Gazzelle who on Friday 19th at 18pm in Piazza Piemonte presents DENTRO, the new album which contains the moments that have marked his life and which sees the participation of exceptional friends and colleagues. On Thursday 30th at 25pm in Piazza Duomo, Remo Anzovino presents Don't forget to fly, a modern solo piano suite in 18 movements. Finally, the musician Patrizia Laquidara on Thursday 30th at 12pm presents I saw you yesterday (Neri Pozza), a story of her childhood with a narrative style between literature and singing. The event also signals the resumption of outdoor events in Gae Aulenti's Feltrinelli Red.

Obviously there is no shortage of appointments with the most significant authors and releases: on Friday 12th at 18 pm in Piazza Piemonte an evening with Gad Lerner, Michele Serra and Carlo Verdelli to remember the excellent pen of Curzio Maltese, author of the novel Azzurro (Feltrinelli Editore). On Monday 30th at 15pm in Piazza Piemonte it will be the turn of Stefano Nazzi, journalist and author of the revelation podcast Indagini, who presents The Face of Evil (Mondadori) together with Francesco Costa. The essay collects the stories of ten murders and how the events of their past influenced their actions. On Friday 18th at 30pm in Corso Buenos Aires Tahereh Mafi meets readers and signs copies of This woven kingdom. The plots of the kingdom (Fanucci), the first chapter of an epic and romantic fantasy series inspired by Persian mythology. Finally, Chiara Cecilia Santamaria aka @macheddavero, author of the blog of the same name, presents Le Cinque Rive (Gribaudo) on Wednesday 19th at 18pm in c.so Buenos Aires, a Fantasy novel set in the lands of Penthral, ​​a land of wars and conflicts (free event and free with reservation on lafeltrinelli.it/eventi).
