The Campobasso Summer Festival 2023 presented at Palazzo San Giorgio.
A proposal which from an artistic and musical point of view is growing steadily year by year, together with the desire to be together and the curiosity to discover new possible situations of social and cultural aggregation, especially for younger people, but not only.
Il program official Campobasso Summer Festival was presented during a press conference carried out at the Council Hall of Palazzo San Giorgio, which was attended by the vice mayor and councilor for culture, Paola Felice, the president of the Council Commission for Culture, Nicola Giannantonio and, for the more specifically artistic and musical part, Pippo Venditti.
Lots of new features also for the 2023 edition which will be held in Campobasso from 22nd to 25th August, starting from change of location which will host all musical events. After three years, the Campobasso Summer Festival moves from the E. De Filippo Park in the San Giovanni district, where the Municipal Administration actually gave it birth and growth, adding each year something significant both from an artistic and organizational point of view, at the Selva Piana Events Area.
“The Campobasso Summer Festival is getting big – declared the Councilor for Culture of the Municipality of Campobasso, Paola Felice – and this both in terms of the public and in terms of the individual artistic and musical events that we manage to propose for four consecutive days every year. All this can only make us proud of the work of planning and promotion that we have carried out as an Administration around this event in these four years, also taking into account the tenacity with which we have managed to guarantee the safety of even the events of the editions which fell in the years of pandemic. Well, – explained councilor Felice – already with the numbers achieved on the occasion of last year's edition of the Campobasso Summer Festival, we have effectively reached a turning point and positive growth which it was natural and necessary to lead to a logistically adequate organizational proposal, in view of this 2023 edition which we are certain will find, as has already been happening since the first days of ticket advance sales, the response and enthusiasm that has always characterized the atmosphere of the Summer Festival in our city. We have therefore planned in time to organize the 2023 edition of the Campobasso Summer Festival in what is now known as the Selva Piana events area, a place which in recent years has already been extensively tested to host high-impact musical events and which has proven to be the right place in terms of both capacity and safety for events of this kind. The Selva Piana events area has a large car park and an area where the public can wait for the gates to open in complete safety without creating problems for regular city traffic.”
A present specifically the musical choices and artists of the Campobasso Summer Festival 2023, they thought Nicola Giannantonio, president of the Council Commission for Culture, and Pippo Venditti.
