The appointment with the Brescia Flavors Festival is back.

Comes to sixth edition il Festival of Flavors, the annual event organized byTourism Department of the Municipality of Brescia with the aim of giving citizens and tourists the opportunity to encounter the food and wine excellences of the city and province.

Nell'anno di Bergamo Brescia Italian Capital of Culture the event formula is renewed: a two-day full immersion, Sunday 2 and Monday 3 July 2023, in the suggestive frame of the Cidneo and within the We Love Castello schedule, with a market, tastings, workshops and four food and wine tours.

The protagonists are as always the restaurateurs and producers of the East Lombardy network, brand of the Gastronomic Region of Eastern Lombardy, which comprises the four provinces of Brescia, Bergamo, Cremona e Mantova with the aim of promoting the food and wine of the area, supporting the notoriety of its peculiarities and excellence at a national and international level.

This year there will be many collaborations: on Sunday 2 July, in the Locomotive area, in addition to the producers' market, there will be a stand for Libraries of the Urban Librarian System, who will bring the bibliobus and its books to the Castle, and will take care of "greedy readings" for the little ones.

We then continue with the conduct Slow Food TerreAcque Bresciane, who will lead two workshops for adults and children: the first on five senses and biodiversity and the second a "hands-on" with the creation of a piadina with evolutionary grains.

Monday July 3 there will be instead dinner, in the area of ​​the Bastion of San Marco: four routes with the food and wine excellences of the East Lombardy network: restaurants 16 e producers, with the Wine and Road Consortia of the Brescia area.

In each of the four menus, Of which a vegetarian, will be realized typical or revisited local recipes, using local products, aimed at enhancing the food and wine tradition Brescia in the name of quality, sustainability and biodiversity.

Two guests of excellence: Richemont Club Italia, an international organization at the top of the baking and pastry sector and technical sponsor of the event, which will offer guests its breads and leavened products, and the Consortium of Artisan Pastry Chefs of Brescia, which he will propose Beat, dessert of Bergamo Brescia Italian Capital of Culture 2023 created in synergy with its Bergamo counterparts.
