“The Lucanian road of colours”: the Palace of Culture and Tourism in Potenza inaugurates the widespread exhibition of Eva Fischer's works.

Il August 7, at 18.00 pm, at Palace of Culture and Tourism of Potenza, will be inaugurated "The Lucanian road of colours”, widespread exhibition of oils by Eva Fischer. After the vernissages in Ruoti and Avigliano the exhibition comprising a total of more than 70 lithographic and engraving works of the famous Italian but also Central European painter, who passed away in Rome in 2015, will stop in Muro Lucano. Lithographs and engravings, often mistakenly confused as simple "photocopies", are instead the result of hard work. Almost all of Fischer's work will be exhibited in these four solo exhibitions. The exhibition will be held from 5 to 20 August 2023 and is sponsored by Municipalities of Potenza, Ruoti, Avigliano and Muro Lucano as well as from "ABEF – Baumann and Fischer archive”. The Basilicata Region and the Basilicata APT also gave their moral patronage.

The choice of the four municipalities to host the widespread exhibition is not random: in fact, the aim was to create a particular cultural journey where the works of Eva Fischer, exhibited for the first time in Basilicata, become the common thread. The Mayor of Potenza, Mario Guarente, declares himself honored to host the exhibition in the prestigious palace of culture, thus offering the city and tourists a cultural proposal of great depth and relevance. He thanks the Mayor of the Municipality of Ruoti for wanting to propose the regional capital as a location for one of the four solo exhibitions of the widespread exhibition, thus connecting four territories of our province. The exhibition, whose installation is curated by EDM ARTELIER, will be open to the public in the morning from 9.30 to 13.00 e in the afternoon from 16.00pm to 19.00pm.
