Cremona with his Stradivari, unique for quality and acoustics, protagonists once again in Paris with an exclusive event opened by the Italian Ambassador Emanuela D'Alessandro and the Mayor Gianluca Galimberti, and organized in the evocative setting of Sicilian Theater of our Embassy in Paris where about a hundred guests attended, including authorities, tour operators and journalists.

The virtuoso Stradivari, before returning to Cremona after i two months of exhibition at the Musée de la Musique in Pariswhere numerous visitors had the opportunity to admire him, he performed with the violinist Sara Zanelli in a unique concert in front of the French audience where they have been performed pieces by Paganini, Sarasate, Massenet and Bach.

The presence in Paris of this very prestigious Stradivarius also enriches a year of exceptional visibility for Italian culture in France: I warmly thank Mayor Galimberti and all the partners for the initiative".

At the event in Paris, where the Councilor for Tourism also spoke, Barbara Manfredini, the Councilor for Culture, Luca Burgazzi, the director of the Violin Museum, Virginia Villa and the Conservative Fausto Cacciatori, the artistic bond that exists between the two cities was confirmed and how Cremona is once again an ambassador of music and art in all its forms.

In September 2024, Cremona will welcome the Sarasate Stradivari at the Violin Museum, who returns home after leaving Stradivari's workshop three hundred years ago".

The mission in Paris it was also the occasion for some institutional meetings that the Mayor and his delegation had with French authorities such as the Vice Mayor of Paris with responsibility for international relations, Arnaud Ngatcha, to initiate and consolidate relations between the two cities and develop new cultural exchange projects, and with UNESCO – the Deputy Director General was present Stefania giannini – and the Italian Permanent Representative Ambassador Liborio Stellino.

Cremona with his “traditional Cremonese luthier know-how”, after having been the protagonist last September at the European UNESCO days with the students of the International School of Violin Making and with Fabrizio von Arx, President of the Casa Stradivari Foundation, therefore represented an active supply chain to the guests who attended with over 180 shops and with the artistic project and masterclass of young luthiers carried out by the aforementioned Foundation, demonstrating how it is possible preserve the art of Cremonese violin making in the name of his great Master Antonio Stradivari and all the music.
