At the 16th edition of the "Punto d'Incontro" Fair, the Pordenone Police Headquarters involved young people in educational and practical activities, offering a glimpse into the specialties of the Police and the daily work for security and legality.

Even this year the State Police of the Pordenone Police Headquarters participated in the demonstration “Meeting Point – Fair dedicated to work, training and orientation”, now in its 16th edition, held on 6 and 7 November at the Pordenone Fair.
The event, aimed in particular at young people, represents an important opportunity to orient the new generations in the complex panorama of the world of work.
At the State Police stand, set up by the Police Headquarters, visitors had the opportunity to come into direct contact with some of the specialities that characterise our Corps.
In particular, specialists from the Highway Police have made their knowledge available to students in order to raise awareness of the importance of responsible driving.. The children participated in fun and educational activities, such as the breathalyzer test, with the aim of understanding, in a fun and engaging way, the risks associated with incorrect driving behavior. In addition, a specialized car and a motorbike were made available to participants for two-wheel enthusiasts, attracting considerable interest.
Present also the Scientific Police of the Pordenone Police Headquarters which, thanks to a rich set-up, offered a demonstration of the most advanced investigative techniques, such as the enhancement of latent papillary prints on paper. In order to encourage active interaction between operators and students, a crime scene was set up so as to identify with real investigators.
To give greater prestige to the participation of the Pordenone Police Headquarters in the event, the fair also hosted the mounted unit of the State Police stationed in Milano.
The curiosity of young people has been captured from the Alfa 159 driving simulator, an idea by police officer Vincenzo Raiola of the Trieste Police Trainee School. In addition to being a valuable training tool for young police officers, it provided an immersive experience for the driver.
The latter, thanks to a sound and visual system, was put in the condition of experiencing the same adrenaline as the Flying Squad operator who, called from the operations room, must promptly reach the citizen to provide assistance.
IAlso on display is the tonal code used by the Flying Squad of the Pordenone Police Headquarters.
The participation of the State Police at the Fair was an opportunity to introduce young people to the world of professions related to security and legality, offering a privileged look at the daily work of those who work every day to ensure everyone's safety.
