Bologna: Spaesaggi Festival arrives with evenings full of music and entertainment
The places it will touch will be Rocchetta Mattei, Campolo and Borgo La Scola with over 20 artists from all over the world.
Bologna: Spaesaggi Festival arrives with evenings full of music and entertainment.
Ten evenings of music and entertainment between the Rocchetta Mattei, Campolo and Borgo La Scola, with performances, shows and talks of over 20 artists from all over the world. From the 22 30 July, having a preview il July 12th in Bologna, is about to begin first edition of Spaesaggi festival, the cultural event at the heart of the pilot project "At Campolo art makes Scola“, selected by the Emilia-Romagna Region within the measures of the PNRR of the Ministry of Culture financed by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
NATO from the union of words "landscape"and "disorientation”, Spaesaggi Festival aims the goal of creating horizons hybrid artistic films capable of surprising and uniting different cultures, with suggestions that give viewers the idea of "disorientation” among the enchanting landscapes of Rocchetta.
La event was presented in press conference of morning of July 10th in Bologna, in the Region, by the regional councilor for Culture and Landscape, Mauro Felicori, by the mayor of Grizzana Morandi, Franco Rubini and by the artistic directors of Spaesaggi, Claudio Carboni and Carlo Maver.
The festival is created by the Municipality of Grizzana Morandi, with the patronage of the Emilia-Romagna Region and the Union of Municipalities of the Bolognese Apennines. The artistic direction of the event was entrusted to Claudio Carboni and Carlo Maver, who for years have alternated their activities as musicians with that of passionate artistic directors of events that enhance the territory of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines.
"Also through this initiative- explained councilor Felicori– it is intended to contribute to the construction of a new territorial system with a cultural and tourist matrix, aimed at supporting a new residential nature of the Apennines and in particular of the Borgo di Campolo, establishing new specialized functions linked to these areas in the village itself, in the nearby medieval settlement della Scola and Rocchetta Mattei".
in this days of the festival there will be the Africa of Salif Keita, the psychedelic Amazonian cumbia of Los Wemblers, the Hungarian music of Rob Lakatos, the refined and psychedelic Brazil of Vinicius Cantuaria together with the more popular one of Renato Borghetti, the Japan of the homage to Sakamoto, the music of the Ukrainian orchestra Slobozhansky Youth Academic Symphony Orchestra of Kharkiv, the dreamlike concert of Abscolta, the Napoli of Raiz, the country of Eloisa Atti, the nice madness of the incursions of the Osiris band, the genius of the musical incursions of Alvin Curran up to the music of the territory with the refined homage of Un Ballo Liscio, with the idea of conveying the amazement and "bewilderment" of encountering all these sonic suggestions.
Wednesday 12 July in Bologna, in the Montagnola Park the preview of the festival, with a journey between creative tango and Mediterranean atmospheres of Carlo Maver 5stet in concert.
Furthermore, during the week, Geoff Westley, Roby Lakatos, Nicola Segatta and many other musicians they will meet for an artistic residency and production that will lead to the recording and publication of an album for Egea Records and an original show starting from improvisation, on July 30th, inspired by the charm of Rocchetta Mattei and the landscapes of the Apennines. Alongside performances and meetings about music, too the educational aspect will be of great importance within the event.
In this first year it was indeed collaboration started GB Martini Conservatory of Bologna to activate orchestral and band training courses.
Il director Aurelio Zarrelli has prepared a program of meetings for young orchestral players of Slobozhansky Youth Academic Symphony Orchestra in Kharkiv (Ukraine), selecting Stefano Chiarotti (light strings), Alberto Farolfi (dark strings), Marino Bedetti (woodwind) and Guido Corti (brass) as teachers. There will also be a training day dedicated to kids from local gangs with wind teachers Marino Bedetti and Guido Corti.
In parallel will be held training aimed at technicians sound and lights with two between them most important professional figures in the sector: as regards audio, Stefano Melone, former collaborator of Ivano Fossati, Fabrizio de André, Ornella Vanoni, Miguel Bosè, Fiorella Mannoia, Cristiano de André, Eros Ramazzotti and many others; as regards the lights, Mariano de Tassis, curator of the lighting show design part for Claudio Baglioni, Renato Zero, Jovanotti, Litfiba, Cesare Cremonini, Gianni Morandi and Andrea Bocelli.
