Siculiana: ASTRO, the exhibition on Ayrton Senna for Agrigento Capital of Culture 2025, is underway.

Siculiana opens a new chapter in its history, welcoming a unique exhibition dedicated to Ayrton Senna. “ASTRO – Ayrton Senna Testimonies and Tale of the Origins”, the event sponsored by the Sicilian Region, Department of Cultural Heritage and Sicilian Identity and Department of Tourism, Sport and Entertainment, and in collaboration with the TAS Torsida Ayrton Senna of Imola.

ASTRO is included among the initiatives of Agrigento Capital of Culture 2025, whose patronage was granted by the Municipality of Agrigento. The Museum-Exhibition is not just an exhibition, but a journey through time and space, an immersion in the Sicilian roots of a global myth such as the three-time Formula 1 World Champion. The Exhibition-Museum hosted within the ancient walls of the Clock Tower will be inaugurated on Saturday 23 November and will remain open until 7 January 2026.

Personal objects, photographs, historical documents and multimedia installations lead us through Senna's life, revealing a deep bond with his homeland.

The single-seaters, sculpted in light, almost seem like extensions of the passion and determination that flowed through the veins of the Magros, Senna's Sicilian great-great-grandparents. Every curve, every detail, every sign harks back to the roots of a champion, forged by a family legacy that pushed him to pursue his most ambitious dreams.

ASTRO is a sensory experience that transports us to the heart of this story, inviting us to reflect on the strength of a passion passed down from generation to generation.

Thanks to an innovative approach and the use of immersive technologies, the cultural and historical heritage of Siculiana is made accessible, unique and fascinating even to the youngest.
