hydroscale Milano, the blue laboratories for the little ones open
Finally the Idroscalo park Milano has reopened, allowing families, children and athletes to spend their summer days immersed in nature; and the weekends of Blue Lab, the space of CAP group dedicated to free workshops for children, which after last year's success returns to offer the little ones a series of creative and educational activities to discover... the magical world of water. The reopening is scheduled for Saturday June 20, in complete safety and in compliance with social distancing rules. On Saturdays and Sundays, the Alboran Social cooperative offers a calendar full of events entirely dedicated to environmental education, without forgetting entertainment: from 15: 00 to 18: 00, children and teenagers will be able to discover their talent as little builders, artists, engineers and creatives and have fun in company. There will be two shifts – one at 15pm and one at 16.30pm – lasting approximately one hour. The program of the month, which will see participants tackle different themes every weekend, includes 4 dates and 8 appointments:
- On June 20st and 21nd we will dedicate ourselves to animals with Floating on the lake: the laboratory involves the study of the different species of aquatic fauna of the lakes. The kids will also be able to discover up close who lives in the waters of the Idroscalo.
- On June 27st and 28nd they will be appointments dedicated to the laboratory You can't go from here, discovering dams and risings, to understand how the force of water can generate electricity.
Blue Lab it is an interactive space dedicated to children and young people aged 4 to 11, with the aim of educating them on the correct use of water and respect for the environment. The activities range from artistic workshops to those dedicated to the discovery of water distribution, from animal observation to those to discover how electricity works. A great opportunity, the one offered by Gruppo CAP to families in the Milanese area, to let the little ones live an educational experience tailor-made for them in one of the first laboratories in the city open to children. Managed by the Alboran Social Cooperative, which for twenty has been dealing with environmental education for years, the space aims to make the little ones aware of the importance of water and the environment through dramatized readings, animated narratives, exploration paths and sensorial approaches. Its position, immersed in the greenery of the large Idroscalo park, makes it the perfect place to spend summer afternoons: children and their families will be able to park in complete safety in the green areas, respecting social distancing and enjoying the open spaces and entertainment of the park, which with its 1,6 million square meters is a true oasis of well-being full of play areas, spaces for sport, art and nature. The BlueLab is located in via Circonvallazione Idroscalo – Riva Ovest – Segrate (MI). To participate in the workshops, registration is mandatory, to be carried out by the previous Thursday by writing to bluelab@alboran-coop.it, specifying the name and age of the participants and leaving a telephone number.
