On February 20, in the conference room of the former San Pietro Infirmary in Sassari, from 15pm to 18pm the new Sassari language and culture course organized by theCamillo Bellieni Institute, which will continue every Tuesday at the same time for ten weeks, free of charge.
The cycle of lessons, which comes after the success achieved last year with the participation of over forty students, will move from a level similar to A1 to a level similar to the pre-intermediate A2, with a program based more on reading practice and writing, on the autonomous composition of texts, and practical exercises on various topics. The teacher will give the lessons Mario Lucio Marras supported by the tutor Maria Doloretta Lai.
Spelling rules will also be explored in depth with reading, translation and conversation as well as growth and knowledge of other disciplines, such as the regional legal system with historical references to the Sassari legal tradition. The training activity is aimed at acquiring skills in the oral and written use of the minority language, and is aimed primarily at both employees and citizens with the vehicular use of speech (CLIL method).
The initiative is part of the project to enhance and protect linguistic minorities proposed by the Municipality of Sassari and financed by the Sardinia Region for the 2022 year, drawing on the funds of regional law 22/2018. The Municipality of Sassari has entrusted the services provided to the Bellieni Institute following a public procedure aimed at entities operating in the sector of the protection and enhancement of the Sardinian language.
