San Michele Salentino. Meeting between Students and Carabinieri for the 5th classes.

On 12 April 2024, the Carabinieri of the Compagnia di San Vito dei Normanni, as part of the training seminars for the diffusion of the culture of legality, they met the 5th classes of the “Giovanni XXIII” Primary School of San Michele Salentino.

At the meeting, held by Lieutenant Pietro Sternativo, Commander of the local Carabinieri Station, 55 students and faculty participated. Numerous topics were covered, all relating to the formation of the culture of legality. The active participation of several students made it possible to analyze in a simple and clear way the typology of the most common conduct carried out by subjects who carry out aggressive and abusive actions towards others, also clarifying some doubts expressed to the speakers.

The meeting attracted considerable interest from the children, confirming itself as an important moment in the formation of the culture of legality. The meeting is part of a wider calendar of events which see the Carabinieri and the Provincial Command of Brindisi operating close to the younger generations, with the aim of increasing civic sense and trust towards the institutions.
