In recent days, the State Police from the Crotone Police Headquarters visited the students aged between 9 and 14.

San Mauro Marchesato (Crotone): the State Police meets the students on the topic of bullying and cyberbullying.

The agents of the State Police of the Crotone Police Headquarters did so in recent days visit students aged between 9 and 14 of the Scandale Comprehensive Institute in the San Mauro Marchesato complex, addressing the issues of bullying and cyberbullying, highlighting the risks that children run on the internet and, in particular, the danger that the IT tool venga used as a vehicle for bullying actions.

The consequences of such conduct were also illustrated, as well as the ways in which one can defend oneself from harmful situations.

The operators involved the children through discussions interactive activities which consisted of encouraging reflection on the topic, also through the reading of a letter written by a young teenager recognized as the first victim of cyberbullying in Italy.

A conclusion of the thematic meeting, the operators provided information on the psychological, criminal and social consequences of bullying and on how to behave if they were to become aware of similar cases, addressing the adults of reference as well as the police forces, including using tools like the YOU-POL State Police App.
