Rovigo: “Live life”, the Music Festival arrives.

Rovigo is preparing to experience a great event. The 24 June the music will be the thread of a day where art, culture, history and even the world of commerce will intersect in a truly unique moment. The initiative, which is part of the municipal administration's calendar of events, is organised from the Rovigo 3 comprehensive institute with the Department of Culture – Teatro Sociale of Rovigo, in collaboration with the “F. Venezze” and Ente Rovigo Festival and Rovigo jazz club for Deltablues on the road.

Il city ​​center, for the occasion, it will be animated by choral groups, folk music, jazz, blues, pop, rock, classical, in many places in the city: in designated places, in the entrance halls of buildings, under the loggias of the centre, in private squares, in the gardens of the two towers. A huge musical event which sees the participation of many students from the Venezze conservatoire and music middle schools, but also pianists from the city, cellists and singers. At this event they did not want to miss the merchants who, involved by the Department of Commerce, will collaborate to make the day even more unique.

But there are many surprises, starting with synergy with Poste Italiane which offers its beautiful palace and the Cariparo Foundation which reserves the opportunity for all party participants to go to the Palazzo Roverella exhibition dedicated to Renoir, with an entrance ticket for just 2 euros.

The event was presented on June 14 at the Ridotto of the Teatro Sociale.

"I extend my heartfelt thanks – said the Councilor for Culture Benedetta Bagatin -, to all the numerous participants in this very important event, starting from the director Fabio Cusin, to our offices at the Theater, to the Conservatory, to Ente Rovigo Festival, to Fondazione Cariparo, to the Italian Post Office, to my colleague, Councilor for Commerce Giorgia Businaro and to the whole team that made this project possible, offering the opportunity to fully experience, through music, everything that is present in our city. “Live life” is the title of the day and it is what we want: to live a day of music with our city and for our city in a more serene and free way".

Un event's audience, as underlined by the artistic director of the Teatro Sociale Edoardo Bottacin, which embraces a range of proposals artistic and 360° training courses.

An integrated activity with 14 realities and more than 700 students, explained Fabio Cusin, head teacher of music-oriented middle schools, aimed at valorising music which has enormous educational value.

The president of the “F.” conservatory fully agrees. Venezze”, Maria Grazia Faganello who, supported by the director Vincenzo Soravia, reiterated the extraordinary educational value of music, which involves another 700 kids from the conservatory.

"The music - ha added Soravia – is a hymn to friendship and this project makes the community more cohesive".

La Music Festival was born in France in 1982 and from 1995 has taken on a characterinternational era becoming one of the most important events in the summer calendar of many cities. It is a large free popular festival open to musicians who wish to perform to give their art to the public.

Today I am all continents were involved, demonstrating the desire to promote better knowledge of the artistic realities of their territory and an interest in developing exchanges with other communities and countries. During the day you can witness a blend of genres musical and to a fruitful exchange between professionals in the sector and amateurs in order to create the widest possible dialogue. There Music Festival collaborates with institutional networks (Ministries, embassies, cultural institutes abroad, municipalities) e Professional (artists, theatres, conservatories, academies and orchestras), to organize an engaging range of musical proposals and alternatives. An opportunity for many musicians to perform both in the spaces traditionally dedicated to music and in all the places in the city where music can meet an audience.

La party in Rovigo will take the starts at 10.30am and will end at 22pm with a fan of performances which sees the protagonists students of the Venezze Conservatory, of the Comprehensive 3 institute who is the organizer of the party, the groups of Deltablues on the road and many other musicians who wanted to join this day where everyone offers their music for free and which also sees the involvement of the "Noi" Club of San Francesco. As per tradition there will be a collective meeting with the festival participants and the public to sing together and honor this Art among Arts. spazi, as dictated by the party, will not only be those responsible for music but also outdoor places, pubs, bars, gardens, church loggias in the city centre.
