Rome: “International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women”, event “The Culture of Respect”
At the Ministry of Culture (Spadolini Hall – via del Collegio Romano, 27), in view of the "International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women", the event entitled "The Culture of Respect" will take place, curated by the General Directorate of Organization of the Ministry of Culture. During the event, the “Persephone” award will be given, established this year, to personalities, entities, institutions and organizations that have distinguished themselves for their commitment to combating gender violence and who have worked hard to sow and cultivate a culture aimed at respect and education towards virtuous behavior.
The following interventions are planned: Valerio De Gioia, counselor at the Court of Appeal of Rome; Anna Maria Giannini, professor at La Sapienza University of Rome; Matilda D'Errico, television writer and director; Costanza Andreini, public policy manager Meta/Facebook; Paul DiPinto, lawyer; Georgia D'Errico, director of Public Affairs & Institutional Relations Save the Children; Martina Semenzato, president of the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry into femicide, as well as into all forms of gender-based violence; Antonio Preziosi, journalist and director of Tg2; Joseph The Stone, plastic surgeon at Terminal Nord Medical Center and president of the non-profit association “Smileagain fvg”; Mariantonia Secconi, Major Commander of the 3rd section in SV of the XNUMXrd Analysis Department of the Special Operations Group; Louise Brown, teacher at the IC Publio Vibio Mariano secondary school – San Godenzo branch and Francesca Ascani, contact person for the IC Publio Vibio Mariano secondary school – San Godenzo branch.
