The Mayor of Rome Roberto Gualtieri sent a welcome letter to all boys and girls who will participate in the “World Children's Day” scheduled for Saturday 25th at the Olympic Stadium and for Sunday May 26 in St. Peter's Square. This is the first major event leading up to the Jubilee that Rome is preparing to welcome.
The mayor he wanted to express their support for the meeting wanted by Pope Francis, “I thank him for his sensitivity and closeness to the city, convinced as I am that each one of us will be able to bring to Rome a seed of hope from the country we come from, together with our own smile, our own desires and thoughts about the future”.
