Today marks the 42nd anniversary of the killing of State Police Agent Antonio Galluzzo by a terrorist commando of the "Nar". Today, in memory of him, a laurel wreath was placed on the tombstone, located at the Sant'Ippolito police station.

Today marks the 42nd anniversary of the killing, ad work of a "NAR" terrorist commando(Revolutionary Armed Nuclei), of the State Police Agent Antonio Galluzzo.
For the occasion, during the celebration officiated by the Chaplain Don Nicola Tagliente, at 11:00 am today, Vice Quaestor Vicar Dr. Francesco Rattà placed a laurel wreath, on behalf of the Chief of Police General Director of Public Security Prefect Vittorio Pisani, on the plaque located at the Sant'Ippolito police station, where the aforementioned served.
June 24, 1982 a commando composed of four "black" terrorists attacked a State Police patrol on permanent security duty at the home of the head of the PLO representation in Italy, Nemer Hamad. After disarmed the two agents, the terrorists fired several shots at them, wounding them both. Antonio Galluzzo, following his injuries, died while being transported to hospital, while the other Agent, Giuseppe Pillon, was seriously injured.
Investigations by the Digos of the Rome Police Headquarters allowed, in less than a week, to arrest the perpetrators of the murder.
Among the latter Gilberto Cavallini and Walter Sordi in 1988 were definitively sentenced to life imprisonment, while Vittorio Oldsword and Pierfrancesco Vito involved in another capacity in the attack, suffered a sentence of 14 and 10 years in prison respectively.
