Rocca di Neto (KR): The People's Festival returns.

It will be a dynamic event with moments of play, stands, laboratory activities, music and dance, encouraging processes of knowledge, openness, meeting and mutual enrichment.

“Within this intercultural journey, – says Mayor Alfonso Dattolo – the need to recover and enhance the local cultural identity, our roots, our history and our traditions, which will be an integral part of a multicultural context, as Rocca di Neto proves to be on a daily basis, by implementing policies of integration and acceptance. Thanks to the Calabria Region for contributing to the event and to the Hon. De Nisi for promoting our project."

Enthusiastic the councilor Genny Martino, manager and curator of the event: “There will be four days of celebration, to get closer to the cultures and communities that inhabit our territory, in an atmosphere of mutual exchange, comparison, friendship, brotherhood and peace. Rocca di Neto always proves to be a welcoming and supportive community, and we should all be proud of this. With this second edition of the Festa dei Popoli we have decided to expand the cultural offering, the moments of reflection and sharing and those of entertainment and integration, we are satisfied with the program we have put together.”

Important collaborations in this edition with local and regional partners: ProLoco Neaithos of Rocca di Neto and the Unpli, with the Comprehensive Institute of ROCCA DI NETO, the Gal Kroton, the Pastoral Unit of Rocca di Neto.

Partnership also with the Sabir Association, Fili Meridiani, the Rocca di Neto section of the Bersaglieri, the Rocca di Neto Hunters' Club and the Ferdinandea Theater Association, Slow Food Crotone and the Order of Social Workers of Crotone.

Among the cultural moments the conference accredited with the order of Social Workers and the University of Calabria "Mediterraneanly, welcoming universal language”.

It is also expected the inauguration of a mural made by the artist Dario Aromolo, and the dedication of the area al painter Mattia Pretti which will seal the proximity to the municipality of Taverna (Cz).

Un important moment It will be there signing of the friendship pact of the municipalities of the Val by Neto, with the aim of creating an association for the promotion and planning of the Neto valley.

There will also be room for it show with performances by Parto delle Nuvole Pesanti, Otto + street band, DJ Salerno, Sud Taranta, the G. Verdi musical band from Rocca di Neto and the Ass. Rocca Ferdinandea theater in Rocca di Neto.

Thanks to the stands in Piazza Giovanni Paolo II al center of the country it will be possible too taste local and international dishes.
