This morning the Peracchini Council, on the proposal of the councilor Pietro Antonio Cimino, resolved to approve the technical and economic feasibility project aimed at restructuring interventions, adaptation of the Civic Theater of La Spezia.

“This is – explains councilor Cimino – an overall project for the redevelopment of the interior furnishings of our Theater which, after the renovation works renovation of fixtures, with this further intervention it will rediscover the splendor that our Theater must have to welcome, in regenerated comfort, the numerous spectators who, as demonstrated by this last season which has just begun, will appreciate our little jewel even more.”

The modernization project aims to improve the internal structure making it more welcoming and comfortable for the numerous spectators who attend the "Civic".

In particular, replacement is foreseen of the seats and some interventions to bring the balustrades of the boxes and the gallery up to standard, the replacement of the curtains, the curtain, the padding of the chairs in the boxes, the sofas and the fabric coverings present, with others that reflect the characteristics of the new sessions.

The intervention is included in the three-year Public Works Plan 2023-2025 for a total amount of 1.050.000,00 divided as follows:

• year 2023 for €150.000,00 financed with regional contributions and for €50.000,00 with municipal resources;
• year 2024 for €850.000,00 financed with regional contributions.
