Quentin Tarantino will present his book at Milano.

Quentin Tarantino, the memorable visionary director of Kill Bill and Pulp Fiction, next April 7th it will be at the Libreria Mondadori Duomo in Milano for a special event of the XXIV edition of the Milanesiana, conceived and directed by Elisabetta Sgarbi.
The filmmaker will present the new book 'Cinema Speculation' in conversation with Antonio Monda and will meet readers. The day before he will be the protagonist of an evening, which is part of the schedule of Bergamo Brescia, capital of culture, at the Teatro Grande in Brescia, always focused on the volume, published by La Nave di Teseo, in bookshops from 21 March.

What is Cinema Speculation about?
For the first time the American director talks about his passion for cinema; the films he loved, the great directors who inspired him and from whom he learned.
It can probably be considered an autobiography through a surprising and completely extraordinary history of cinema.
An excerpt from the book reads: “At a certain point, when I realized I was seeing films that my peers weren't allowed to see, I asked my mother why. She replied that she would be more worried if I had seen the news and that a movie couldn't hurt me."
Cinema Speculation is the story of a cinema-loving child who spends his evenings with his parents in the most avant-garde cinemas in Los Angeles. That ravenous spectator, who prefers the immensity of the big screen to games, and who grows up fascinated by a new generation of directors like Clint Eastwood, Steve McQueen, Don Siegel, who sweeps away old Hollywood in the Seventies.
We are talking about revolutionary films that stimulate the imagination of that boy and that will weave the plot of his long career behind the camera.
