“This year too, the Liguria Region supported the Ligurian municipalities with the allocation of approximately 1 and a half million euros, through the single national tourism fund. Most of the funds were used by the Municipalities for the Christmas arrangements and today we are happy to be in Sarzana for the traditional lighting of the tree which also this year falls on the occasion of Sant'Andrea, patron saint of the city.

Sarzana is ready to dress up, proposing a series of appointments also in its historic center which will make it even more evocative. Christmas represents a unique opportunity to promote our region, increasingly appreciated by Italian and foreign tourists and these initiatives allow us to focus even more on deseasonalisation which is also bringing great results with regards to the quality of tourism in Liguria".

Thus the president of the Liguria Region Giovanni Toti on the occasion of the lighting of the Christmas tree in Piazza Matteotti in Sarzana, which was also attended by the regional councilor James Giampedrone.
