Pontinia, the 2022/2023 Season begins at the Fellini Theater.
At the start Season 2022 / 2023 organized by Fellini Theater of Pontinia in collaboration with ATCL – Circuit multidisciplinary of Lazio, recognized by MIC – Ministry of Culture and Lazio region and with the patronage of Municipality of Pontinia and Province of Latina. Saturday 26 November at 21.00 the first appointment with an international artist, Daniel Pennac, with the show: FROM THE DREAM TO THE SCENE di Clara Bauer, Pako Ioffredo and Daniel Pennac.
This is a show with Pako Ioffredo, Demi Licata, and Daniel Pennac, music by Alice Loup e Antonio Urso, directed by Clara Bauer, production manager Claudio Ponzana, communication Manager Milena Cozzolino, co-production Compagnie Mia – Mouvement International Artistique e Ente Teatro Chronicle Vesuvioteatro in collaboration with Pistoia Theater Association (ATP) e The Funaro.
In Italian language and French language translated live into Italian. A show born from the desire to tell the theatrical universe of Mia companies, as well as a reflection on the theater itself. A path that intertwines the direct story with various passages from Daniel Pennac's latest theatrical adaptations, the author's narrative and dream world inhabits the scene. The dream is at the center of the narrative and is the starting point. Pennac sometimes starts from dreams as a source of literary inspiration. Among the texts that will come to life on stage: The Law of the Dreamer, Story of a body, Bartleby – Mon Frère, thank you, The adventure Theatrical – My Italians. In the theater, the author produces a language, uses the dream material by putting it on paper, Clara Bauer, the director, translates these images onto the stage starting from Pennac's stories, a mise en espace of bodies evoking sound images. Pako Ioffredo, Demi Licata and Daniel Pennac, acting and interpreting, will give life to characters, reproducing those images so that the spectator experiences the sensation of being seduced, as in a dream, by an effect of reality.
Daniel Pennac will enter live among the folds of his books and his latest shows, meeting the public on that borderline between interpretation and narration, reading and acting. Pennac's feather and dreams play with the poetry of the scene.
Also on November 26hours 19.30, before staging the show, the review EFFECTS COLLATERALS edited by Anna Eugenia Morini will start the meeting “THE ART OF DREAMING, OR THE THEATER", a conversation on the sidelines of "FROM THE DREAM TO THE SCENE", where Anna Eugenia Morini will converse with Stefania Bruno, teacher of playwriting and author of short stories and essays on theatre. The theme of the meeting will be the dramaturgy of dreams as an element characterizing the work of great masters such as Calderon de la Barca, strindberg, Pirandello e Eduardo De Filippo.

He also returns to collaborate with the Fellini Theater for food and beverage Campana, a Pontine company that for years has made style, tradition and professionalism together with the love of good food its peculiar trait. From this year Fellini also makes use of a new collaboration: The Monti Cecubi Agricultural Company, which is located in Itri, on the hills overlooking the sea of Sperlonga, land of origin of the ancient Cecubo wine, a tradition dating back to the era of Republican Rome. Pliny the Elder, in a ranking of the best wines he first indicated Cecubo, the wine of our land, among the hills of Funds and those of Formia. Columella then, in De Re Rustica, identified the production site of the best wine in theRoman Empirehand on the heights above the Spelunca, today Sperlonga. Now the Cecubo wine has returned to our lands thanks to the rediscovery of organic viticulture in this fertile territory also rich in natural beauty.
In addition to this, the initiative also restarts “A bus called Fellini”, the shuttle service from Latina towards the Fellini Theater on the occasion of shows throughout the Prose/Dance/Children's Theater season.
