Countdown to “The 1/2 White Night of Children” which returns on Friday and Saturday, from 18pm to midnight in Pesaro, Italian Capital of Culture 2024, with its 14th edition ready to fascinate, entertain and help children of all ages grow for the two “half” evenings of August 30th and 31st, free entry (HERE is the complete program).
While waiting for the event, the little ones of the city are reserving (on the website CoccoleSonore.it) the approximately 1.000 backpacks of “The 1/2 White Night of Children” with inside Coloring pages and Fibracolor colors that will be distributed for free (and while stocks last), from 18pm to 23pm, at the “Sparvy Point” in Piazza del Popolo, where you can also find the event program. Useful information includes: “The 1/2 White Night of Children” reminds you that every evening, from 18.30pm to 23pm, families will be able to use the “Baby Pit Stop Area”, the Unicef BPS point (via Mazzolari 6-8-10 headquarters), to have a comfortable diaper change or to breastfeed before going wild with the event program.
A program that will see, on the stage of Piazza del Popolo of “The 1/2 White Night of Children”, many characters: there will be Sparvy (official mascot of the event) and Whiskey Spider & Friends (by Coccolone Sonore); there will also be Tarta, Stellina and Ippo (mascots of Alpitour) who will provide entertainment and babydance. The stage will also host the “Magic Castle” of the Municipality of Gradara and the “Magic Castle” of the Municipality of Tavullia, “historical” initiatives ready to amaze adults and children together with two other characters – Astrolight and Mecanic Bionic – arriving from the space of “The Robot Light Show” by Silver Project and the physical and mathematical educational activities of “Che storia la mistero LAB” led by the specialists of the Museo del Balì. Music and fun with the “Maestro Ema with the Magic of Music” and with “Renato the Scientist and Prof. Luca” of DNA Coccole Sonore. Ears pricked up for Riccardo Selci, singer-songwriter who will present his hymn to the city “Pesaro je t'aime” and for the “Talenti alla Biosfera” of the PianetaMusica singing school by Davide Di Gregorio. Closing both evenings will be, from 23 pm, the show “Buona 1/2 Notte” by Pesaro Village Kids.
Also not to be missed are the activities held in Piazza del Popolo, such as those of the Centro Ittico Art Lab (collective painting workshop from 19pm to 21pm) and Avis (workshop and recreational awareness-raising activities, from 20pm to 23pm). From 20pm to 23pm, it will be possible to admire and interact with the large installation of “38 Wooden Games” recovered from the past by the Giardino dei colori association, with UNICEF awareness-raising play workshops; with the “test drives” of “Cerchiamo piloti” on the track with electric cars and jeeps by DNA Coccole Sonore. For everyone, the beloved Nonno Bolla, the face painters and the stilt walkers.
The city's museums will propose the initiatives “Trifles in our pockets: our capital assets” and the extraordinary evening opening, from 21pm to 23pm, of the Civic Museums, Casa Rossini and the Bicycle Museum.
The children's workshop is scheduled for Friday and Saturday from 21:00 pm to 23:XNUMX pm in the courtyard of Palazzo Mosca which will host details of works from the city's heritage ready to 'go on stage' and activate research, workshops and mapping. The workshop will help you get to know better, while having fun, the cultural heritage of the Civic Museums, Casa Rossini and the Bicycle Museum. On Friday and Saturday, from 18:30 pm to 20 pm, the Civic Museums will host entertainment and an artistic workshop by Margherita Mazzoli, “Pesaro to be discovered, curious guide of the city” with group quizzes and an art workshop for families to create a pocket book of unpublished details.

The Craxi gardens and Piazzale Matteotti will host a dedicated sports area from 18pm to 23pm, managed by the Municipality's Sports office. Here you will find space for: Forlani Performance Horses, the Western Riding School will present, by letting them try, the activities of its equestrian center; the Val dell'Isauro Equestrian Center, which will give the opportunity to get excited on pony rides; the Linfa Farm which with its organic farm will welcome the little ones with little animals and products "tailor-made" for girls and boys. A corner to get closer and learn about the fantastic world of horses and ponies and to love nature even more.
New for 2024, Fileni's participation in “The 1/2 White Night for Children”; the brand will be present with a large dedicated Food Area in Piazzale Collenuccio where, every evening, it will be possible to find and taste the products of the Buoni&Veloci and Buoni&Bilanciati lines. A perfect space also for those looking for Gluten Free products. Quality stands also in via San Francesco where traditional cuisine will be served by the Pro loco of Candelara.
Pesaro 2024 will also be in the front row, which will lead to “The 1/2 White Night of Children”, in the Court Dario Fo and Franca Rame (Palazzo Mazzolari), its implementing subjects, present with laboratories representing the projects created for the Italian Capital of Culture.
Friday August 30th, the CSV Marche Et (Circol-azioni dossier project) will be at Mezzanotte, from 20pm to 23pm, with “Recycle Reuse for Industrious Nature” playful courses of education on environmental sustainability in collaboration with the associations Rifiuti zero Marche and Lupus in Fabula. ARTIFICIAL UMANISM, for the Reali Meraviglie project, will present from 19.30:21 pm to XNUMX:XNUMX pm, the “Digital Fabrication Lab” to recreate the Pesaro8 manifesto with children aged 13 to 2024.
