The event which between Friday 30th and Saturday 31st will transform the historic center into an open-air stage with workshops, activities and games.
Pesaro: the “30/31 Notte Bianca dei Bambini” returns on Friday 1th and Saturday 2st, the event most loved by girls and boys.
“The 1/2 White Night for Children” returns in the year of Pesaro, Italian Capital of Culture to fascinate, entertain, and help children of all ages grow for two "half" days, Friday 30 and Saturday 31 August, from 18 pm to midnight, with free admission.
Andrea Biancani, Mayor of Pesaro: «A beautiful idea, born 14 years ago, to tell and enhance our vision and planning of a city suitable for the little ones» which fits well with that of a tourist city, «Our equipped beaches, with fine sand and seabed low where girls and boys can play peacefully in the water and on the shoreline – as confirmed by the 2024 Green Flag recognition – welcome families arriving in the Capital in the best possible way. Who will be able to find in these two "half" nights, many proposals for fun, training and entertainment. To be shared with the people of Pesaro, who are very fond of this joyful and constructive event."
«The event returns to its full two-date form – underlines Daniele Vimini, deputy mayor, councilor for Culture and Tourism – which will be held next Friday and Saturday, as also requested by the commercial activities that have found the formula to be excellent, and which has a driving effect on Sunday, a day full of already planned initiatives". The deputy mayor highlights the numerous collaborations of the event, including those with Gradara and Tavullia, «a combination that is intertwined in the strategies activated in terms of promotion and beyond and which we will strengthen with this important showcase». And he anticipates «the novelty of the stage in Piazza del Popolo. It will be located between the Biosphere and the fountain, in front of the Post Office building, it will have a modular structure and an audience of 200 seats; we will present it on Tuesday but it will be the first time to christen it “The 1/2 White Night for Children”». Vimini then cites the claim “PLAY” of the event, which «reports the centrality of Pesaro, UNESCO Creative City of Music and City of Sport. Central elements that find nourishment in engaging events such as Midnight» which will count, in this edition as Capital, from the laboratories proposed by the implementing bodies of Pesaro 2024, «many, varied and unique opportunities to discover the dossier projects that are crossing, and enriching, the city". "There will be no lack of dualism between the two symbolic mascots of the event, Sparvy and Whiskey the spider, who we hope will not argue" jokes Vimini finally before listing the locations of the event, such as via San Francesco which will host the food stands, including that of the Pro Loco of Candelara, and then thanking "in addition to the Chamber of Commerce for the support of the event and the Chamber of Commerce Marche Nord, organizer and "driving force" of various international and local synergies activated by the Municipality", partners and sponsors «extremely valuable and able to always guarantee an “active” and quality presence at the event» and the other entities involved in the logistics and in guaranteeing the safe carrying out of the initiative, «such as the municipal operations centre, the local police, The VolontarX of Pesaro 2024 and those of the municipal civil protection group."
To tell the objective of the 14th edition of “The 1/2 White Night for Children”, is Amerigo Varotti, director of Confcommercio Marche Nord: «We are ready to give many smiles to the girls and boys of the city and on holiday in Pesaro; families who "occupy" the beaches and who at the end of the day under the umbrellas will surely be happy and amazed by the experience that the event will offer». Which is the consolidated one «of ttransform the center (and beyond) into an open-air village of workshops, shows and games. A winning formula that we confirm and that we have developed thanks to the event manager Fabio Bargnesi, the 30-year experience of Pesaro Village, the quality of the recreational and educational proposal of Dna and Coccole Sonore and the active participation of dozens of entities, such as Alpitour, which will help us to color the program of the initiative".
Paolo Pagnini of Pesaro Village, he then goes into detail about the two "half" evenings: «There is no competition between one initiative and the other, just as between the Friday and Saturday programmes, they are not the same nor does one prevail over the other». Many curious characters will take to the stage of "The ½ White Night of Children", «in addition to Sparvy and Whiskey there will be Tarta, Stellina and Ippo the Alpitour mascots who will do animation and babydance in Piazza del Popolo", a space that will also host the "Magic Castle" of the Municipality of Gradara and the "Magic Castle" of the Municipality of Tavullia, "'historical' initiatives of the territory, conceptually different that we will like to let those who participate discover". The two characters arriving from space are also ready to amaze “The Robot Light Show” by Silver Project and physical and mathematical educational activities led by specialists from the Balì Museum. Music and fun guaranteed with “Whiskey Ragnetto & his friends”, “Maestro Ema with the Magic of Music” and “Renato the Scientist and Prof. Luca” by DNA Coccole Sonore. Ears pricked up also for Riccardo Selci, singer-songwriter who will present his anthem to the city on stage “Pesaro I love you” and for the “Boys' Rock Band” of Davide Di Gregorio's PianetaMusica singing school.
Also not to be missed are the other activities located in the square, such as those of the Art Lab Fish Center (collective painting workshop), of AVIS (awareness workshop and recreational activities). All to experience also: the large installation of “38 Wooden Games” recovered from the past by the Giardino dei colori association; the Art Hunt, in collaboration with Swarovski Optik; God's initiatives UNICEF. The most daring will be able to take a "Test Drive" on the track with electric cars and jeeps set up by DNA Coccole Sonore for the "We are looking for Pilots" initiative. For everyone, the beloved Grandfather Bolla, the face painting and the stilt walkers.
