Pesaro pays homage to the Golden Age of Graffiti with 'EPiK': a documentary on Hip Hop.

Pesaro 2024 dedication a tribute to italian hip hop culturea. Sunday 17 November at 17pm, the Antonia Pallerini Hall of Palazzo Gradari hosts the preview screening of 'EPiK – The golden age of graffiti in Pesaro', the documentary by Claudio Tacchi, Marco Livi, Luca Vagnini who wants to be a tribute to the hip hop scene and the people who helped shape a culture that continues to live on, influencing new generations even today.

EPiK takes viewers on a journey through the evolution of writing and hip hop culture in Pesaro, a city that – perhaps not everyone knows – played a key role in the development of this movement in Italy.

An opportunity to explore the history and testimonies of those who have experienced this culture first hand, bringing to light key moments from its origins in the 90s to the present dayi. Pesaro has been a point of reference for writers from all over the country, who through their interviews testify how a small group of artists has contributed to inspiring and defining a new approach to urban art. The story of an experience that has contaminated and influenced several generations of those who express themselves through urban art.

Biographical notes on the creative team

Claudio Heels (direction, editing, video post-production)
Director, filmmaker and VFX artist, he has built his career making commercials, music videos, short films and documentaries.

Marco Livi (production)
Creative director with a background in the digital world, he is a reference in integrated communication. He founded an electronic music association in Bologna and leads visual projects for brands and art.

Luca Vagnini (artistic direction)
Graphic designer, he has collaborated with some of the main Italian brands, dealing with communication, product and interior design.
