Ostuni (BR): the Carabinieri meet the elderly to talk about counter strategies to the various modus operandi implemented by criminals.

In recent days, the Carabinieri of the Ostuni station, represented by Lieutenant Stefano Mastroddi, as part of the dissemination seminars for the dissemination of the prevention scams to the detriment of vulnerable victims, met, at the end of the liturgical celebration, 50 elderly people at the “San Luigi Gonzaga” Parish, located in Ostuni (BR) on via G. Di Vittorio.

During the meetings, the topic of fraud prevention was addressed, focusing attention, in particular, on counter strategies to the various modus operandi implemented by criminals. The elders participated in the meeting with interest and asked numerous questions and expressed some of their doubts.

The Carabinieri has always promoted this type of cultural contribution, actively involving citizens, with whom a concrete comparison, stimulating their curiosity. The meeting is part of a wider calendar of events which see the Carabinieri making its contribution of closeness to people with the aim of preventing certain criminal phenomena and increasing the sense of trust towards the institutions.
