The event “Modena World Heritage Celebration” is designed and promoted by the Civic Museum of Modena – Coordination of the World Heritage Site and the City Promotion and Tourism Service of the Municipality of Modena in collaboration with Emilia Romagna Teatro ERT /Teatro Nazionale. The 2024 edition is made possible thanks to the collaboration of the Modena Cathedral Museums, of the Metropolitan Chapter of Modena and of the Archdiocese of Modena and Nonantola, as well as of the Focal point creative cities and urban history – Department of Culture of Modena.
The initiative is part of the project "Enhancement and promotion of the UNESCO heritage and Media Arts to enhance the tourist attractiveness of the city", financed by the Ministry of Tourism as part of the Fund in favor of Municipalities with a cultural, historical, artistic and landscape vocation, in whose territories sites recognized by UNESCO as World Heritage Sites are located and It is part of the two-year program for the promotion of tourism in the UNESCO site of Modena and in Modena, a UNESCO creative city for the Media Arts.
