Milano: “Welcome to Fantasyland” a journey into the fantastic at Feltrinelli in Piazza Piemonte.
La Feltrinelli of Piazza Piemonte opens the doors to the fantastic with the special evening “Welcome to Fantasyland” the next Tuesday 28 February from 19.00. The event, curated by Librerie Feltrinelli, inaugurates a review dedicated to fantastic worlds which will accompany the public until April 9th. The opening night, created in collaboration with Lucca Comics & Games, is hosted by Marta Perego and includes the exclusive participation of the fantasy illustrator Paolo Barbieri and the performance of Adrian Fartade, the most creative of science fiction popularizers. His preview of the show “Aliens are not good to eat (maybe…)” will take participants into a sidereal atmosphere, halfway between science and imagination. But the evening doesn't stop there. After the show, Eleonora Montagnana, an internationally renowned violinist, will recreate fantasy atmospheres through the soundtracks of many cult films and TV series, such as "The Neverending Story", "Game of Thrones" and "The Wizard of Oz". Furthermore, RED Caffè offers “Ofiuco”, a special “fantastic” themed cocktail created for the occasion by Dario Comini, Master Mixologist of the Nottingham Forest Cocktail Bar in Milano.
The event will continue with a series of events featuring the main authors and talents of the literary genre, promotions and exclusives available both in bookstores and online on lafeltrinelli.it and IBS.it. A long journey until April 9th on the paths of fantasy fiction, science fiction, dystopia and gothic horror, which promises to satisfy fans of this ever-evolving literary genre.
