Milano: “Do the right thing!”, the national fair of critical consumption and sustainable lifestyles from 24 to 26 March.

An audience of young people, of Milano and Lombardy but not only: this is the novelty of the 19th edition of It 'the right thing!, National fair for critical consumption and sustainable lifestyles, organized by the Terre di mezzo publishing house.
Three days – from Friday 24th to Sunday 26th March – dedicated to sustainability told thanks to the 450 exhibition companies from all over the national territory, organized within the 9 thematic areas: Conscious Tourism, Great Walks and Outdoors, Critical Fashion, Natural and Organic Cosmetics , Eat as you speak, Street Food, Vegan Area, The Planet of the Little Ones, Living Green, Peace and participation.
The event ended with a total of 34 thousand attendees. Many families, couples and groups of friends of all ages, as well as almost 6 thousand students involved together with their teachers. Almost 200 volunteers welcomed them.
This year, the exhibition space has been added to the historic areas of the fair Social Cohesion Days, the festival dedicated to social cohesion organized by the Easy Care Foundation, and the section of CHALLENGES-everyone's school has grown, the program of which was studied in collaboration with Erickson and the Educational Cooperation Movement. Almost 3 teachers, school managers and trainers registered for CHALLENGES.
350 meetings of the cultural program of Fa' la cosa rossa!, with debates, presentations, workshops and tastings, which were sold out thanks to the 700 speakers who made their time and skills available to share and put into practice network of ideas, good practices and projects. The Archbishop of Milano mgr. Mario Delpini, the writer and poet Erri De Luca, the Minister of Tourism Daniela Santanchè, the stylist Marina Spadafora are just some examples of the many speakers, authors, directors of institutions, presidents of associations, walkers, creatives who have made this edition of the fair.

Among the most crowded areas are those of slow tourism and critical fashion, two historical sections of Do the right thing! which stood out for the innovations proposed: from the new Paths born in Italy to the presence of Italian Alpine Club and 13 Italian Regions, to the critical fashion collectives that propose fashion that is attentive to enhancing sustainable raw materials and the fight against waste. Do the right thing! it was also the culmination of a dialogue established in recent months between climate activists, often protagonists of sensational protests, and museum directors; and it was also an opportunity to promote renewable energy communities, models that can involve public bodies, schools, parishes, condominiums, offices and businesses. The space reserved for voluntary associations was also well frequented. http://www.falacosagiusta.org
