Milano remembers Alessandro Manzoni 150 years after his death.
The Cathedral of Milano, the National Library of Braidense and especially Manzoni house, residence of the writer and his family from 1813 until his death.
These are just some of the places where Milano will remember Alessandro Manzoni, for the anniversary of 150 years since his death, which took place on 22 May 1873, as part of a rich schedule of events that will take place throughout the year. The initiatives are coordinated by the Municipality of Milano in collaboration with the major cultural institutes of the city.
