MILAN. A NIGHT FOR TOM WAITS
Milano, Friday 10 April 2020 at 21 pm, at ARCI BELLEZZA, A NIGHT FOR TOM WAITS.
Music critic Daniel Durchholz described Waits' voice this way: "As if it had been soaked in a vat of whiskey, then hung in a smokehouse for a few months, and then taken out and hit with a car."
Dave Muldoon presents on the club stage Arci Beauty di Milano his show in homage to the poet of the "wrong side", performing a unique live performance, accompanied by his Orchestra, which unfolds embellished with a warm and vibrant voice, like a true New York bluesman. Live Agostino Dan Marino (double bass), Marco Farello (piano, accordion and Hammond organ) and Mauro Sansone (drums and percussion).
The trait-d'union between these artists is the love relationship with Waits' music, suffered with every note and in the perennial search for a lost meaning within stories made of bars, endless nights and missed trains. A night in which the show is not just music, but a sincere attempt to interpret the songs and style of a great author of life.
