Milano, Design Week: in the Region Square the pyramid that will be positioned on Everest and many other initiatives.

A large pyramid in the center of the square which houses the Palazzo della Regione Lombardia. A 'unique' object which, at the end of the Design Week, will be used as cover for the 'EVK2CNR' Observatory located at the base of Everest. An installation of exceptional design, made of steel and technological fabric by Lombardy companies, inside which you can experience a special experience that combines design, technology and sustainability.

It is just one of the proposals that the Region will offer on the occasion of the Design Week, from Monday 15th to Sunday 21st April, “a rich schedule of initiatives and events of particular attraction and interest” explain the president of the Lombardy Region, Attilio Fontana, and the councilor with responsibility for Design, Barbara Mazzali.

The pyramid and the entire exhibition will therefore find space in one exceptional location open free of charge to all citizens, "with the objective – add Fontana and Mazzali – to make the Palace and the square a point of reference for the world of design and creativity and a stop not to be missed as part of Design Week 2024".

From Lombardy to Everest

In particular, they will find a place in the Pyramid 3 blocks of ice, representing 3 different types of ice which, by melting, will raise awareness among citizens and visitors of the intensity of glacial melting.
