Musical tributes to Franco Battiato, Demetrio Stratos and John Cage, on stage on 6 April at the Teatro Lirico Giorgio Gaber in Milano.
Milano: “50 years of Cramps, a unique concert to celebrate the revolution of Italian music”.
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the record company conceived and founded in 1972 by Gianni Sassi, Giorgio Gaber Lyric Theatre di Milano will host the concert “Cramps records 1972-2022”, with the conduction of Jo Squillo, 6th April.
They will take part in the grandiose concert Patrizio Fariselli Aria open project as a quintet, one of which was entirely dedicated to the band's first unforgettable album “Arbeit Macht Frei” area, a cornerstone of that daring mix of experimentation, free jazz, electronic and rock, which this year celebrates half a century of its publication; Eugene Finardi with a tribute to Gianni Sassi, and a tribute to John Cage with Carlo Boccadoro, who will then be the protagonist of a very particular performance together with Patrizio Fariselli; Lucio Fabbri & Friends they will create a tribute to Demetrius Stratos and the songs “La Radio” and “Rebel Music” by Eugenio Finardi; always in homage to John Cage, Andrea Tich will present some songs from his album Cramps “Masturbate”. In conclusion, the concert will be a tribute to Franco Battiato.
Together with the aforementioned artists the Skiantos will take the stage to celebrate the music of Cramps and its 50 years of history.

The concert “Cramp records 1972 – 2022” is produced by Redshift di Stefano Piantini, With the collaboration of Naked King. The direction is by Roberto Manfredi, former record producer, author and director who collaborated with Gianni Sassi to launch his Rock 80 label.
