Macfrut. Lollobrigida: entrepreneurs in the Italian pride sector

“Extraordinary fairs like this give me the opportunity to meet hundreds of entrepreneurs, who show themselves to the world with research, innovation and the guarantee of quality of their products. The entrepreneurs in this sector of fruit and vegetables, agri-food and agro-industry are the pride of this nation, those who have kept up the perception of quality, which is naturally associated with Italy". This was stated by the Minister of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forests, Francesco Lollobrigida, at the inaugural event of the fair Macfruit.

“All the people I meet here –adds the minister– they tell me about their experience, giving me advice and highlighting the problems they face on a daily basis. The Meloni Government wants to be supportive and reach out to them, instead of asking them for something, as has too often happened in the past."

“At Macfrut there is a vocation that anticipates the more general vision of the Mattei Plan. The entrepreneurs here present themselves not only to the richer nations, who can purchase valuable goods, but also to the poorer ones who want to develop something similar to our way of feeding ourselves, producing and living", concludes the minister.
