Until October 20, anyone who wants to say something about this issue can send one or more photos, accompanied by a title and the name of the person who took them.
Livorno: “Photograms of glances: photographic exhibition on gender violence” an exhibition created with the shots sent by citizens.
On the occasion of the next edition of the November Anti-Violence, the Women's Centre of the Municipality of Livorno will host the exhibition “Frames of glances: photographic exhibition on gender violence”, a photographic and communication project promoted by the Randi Association, Anti-Violence Center, which has been committed to preventing and combating all forms of violence and discrimination against women for over 30 years.
The idea was born not to have a collection of photos, but to give anyone who wants the opportunity to say something about this which is a serious, widespread and often still too hidden social problem.
The exhibition on the theme of violence against women it will therefore be built with the contribution of citizens through one or more photographs, also taken with a mobile phone, that anyone can send via email and that in some way are inspired by stories, glances, gestures and spaces of women who have lived and suffered experiences of domestic violence.
Until the 20 October Anyone who wants to say something about this issue can send one or more photos, accompanied by a title and the name of the person who took them, to the email address fotogrammidisguardi@gmail.com.
The Randi Association will review the photos and those deemed appropriate to the theme discussed will be printed at the expense of the same Association which will also take care of the installation.
