Lino Guanciale at the Mysterious Baths for a trip to the sea

Lino Guanciale, well-known theater actor known to the general public for the successful TV series "L'Allieva", "Don't tell my boss" and "La Porta Rossa", returns to the Franco Parenti Theater in Milano, in particular in the splendid setting of Bagni Misteriori, for a show born during the lockdown period and conceived to start experiencing theater again. “Escape the earth and the waves”, this is the title that will be staged on September 9th at 21.30 pm in which the talented actor will be at the center of the show. Through passages ranging from Joseph Conrad to anonymous Arab chroniclers, passing through the voices of modern-day migrants to verses from Virgil's Aeneid, Fuggi la terra e l'onde synthetically illustrates a jagged but profound line of conjunction, that of the search for salvation and happiness through the challenge of the sea. «The sea and adventure inhabit the same metaphorical dimension in our imagination, confused in a complex embrace that binds together both the thrill of discovery and the fear of nature and the unknown. The challenge of the explorer, the poet and the refugee... different ways of scanning the horizon and studying the wind, generated by different desires and fears. All written, however, in fiery letters in the human soul, according to the rules of life, death and poetry", explained Guanciale himself.
