The yellow weather alert ended at 8 am on January 6th large basins of the C area. Strong gusts of wind and widespread precipitation were recorded throughout the region during the night.
Several interventions by the firefighters during the night, above all linked to landslides and fallen branches on the roads due to the wind. Landslides recorded in via del Castellino, on the heights of Rapallo, at the junction with via dei Poggi, and on the SP 4 in the Santa Marta area between Pontedecimo and Ceranesi; both are temporarily closed, while operations to make the roadway safe are underway. Small landslides were also reported on the state road 586 (km 56, municipality of Borzonasca) and on the 523 (km 63, municipality of Varese Ligure), with roads regulated in one alternating direction.
