Lecco: the space activities of the Deep Space amateur astronomers group for the month of November were presented.

The Lecco Civic Planetarium offers, also for month of November, a rich and varied calendar of events, which range from white holes, myths and mysteries about the existence of the universe.
This month's special initiative is the course "Observe and photograph the sky“, aimed at anyone who wants to get closer to practical astronomy and managed by Natale Bugada. The lessons will be held from 9 to 30 November, on four Thursdays, at 21pm. The first two evenings will be dedicated to the use of telescopes, the other two to astronomical photography. Registration can be made either for the entire course or for one of the two parts. The cost is 30 euros for two evenings and 50 euros for four.

As usual, all Friday conferences will begin at 21pm. It will start tomorrow, Friday 3 November, with Cecilia Corti and with a dome projection on the stars and myths of the autumn sky. The season is dominated by the constellations dedicated to the legend of Perseus and Andromeda, but the evening will also allow users to travel through stories originating from all over the world, with some insights into the most relevant stars and the most remote regions of the sky. On November 10, astronomer Stefano Corvino will talk about the origin of white holes, gravitational funnels that work in the opposite way to black holes. The theme has been in vogue since the publication of the best seller “White Holes” by Carlo Rovelli. Friday 17th we will go beyond the astronomical field with Pietro Vassena, creator of inventions forexploration of the sea and lake depths. The evening will be hosted by journalist Stefano Bolotta, author of the documentary that rediscovered the figure of Vassena. Finally, the 24th November the professor of the University of Milano-Bicocca and astronomer at the Brera-Merate observatory Gabriele Ghisellini will talk about the Big Bang and will try to answer the reason for the birth of the universe.

On Saturday 18 November you will be able to observe the sky with telescopes of the group from the departure square of the Piani d'Erna cable car. In this case, in addition to the normal ticket, the family ticket discount will also be available. “Children's Saturday” returns on November 4th with the Little Prince, while the November 18th there will be Gruby the space pig. Both will have the usual double screening at 15pm and 16pm and are recommended for children aged 30 to 4 years. The ticket, in this case, is reduced for everyone.
Every Sunday at 16pm there will be projections in the dome on the sky of the month, with the exception of Sunday 12th when the screening is set at 10am, to avoid overlapping with the Lecco home match. The events include entry at a reduced cost of 4 euros or full cost of 6 euros. For adults information and registrations you can visit the place deepspace.it.
