Latina, the short film by the Diaphorá association “La Panchina di Ferro” premiered on the Municipality's Facebook page

Latina, Friday 19 March, at 18 pm, on the Facebook page of the Municipality of Latina, the short film "La Panchina di Ferro" will be broadcast for the first time, created by the Diaphorá association with the contribution of the Municipality as part of the "La Cultura e Art in the time of Covid”. 

Latina and some of its views act as the location for the short film, but the point of conjunction and meeting is "the bench" of Parco Falcone Borsellino, a symbolic place in history as well as a source of inspiration for Tiziano Ferro, who found the incipit of the film right there. his first big hit, “Xdono”. 

Through the complicity and spontaneity of the two friends who are the protagonists of the story, the spectator is given a careful and profound reflection on fundamental themes such as respect, acceptance, listening, loyalty and sincerity. 

The bench is the metaphor of meeting, exchanging, waiting and meeting again, elements that are the basis of a true and profound friendship. The careful eye of director Roberto D'Alonzo captures the two protagonists at different moments of the day, with the aim of enhancing their freedom of expression and movement. This sincerity means that the result is a very delicate work, characterized by a poetic and refined style capable of giving the viewer strong emotions.
