Latina: “The Police go to school….” The initiatives continue with the students of the schools of the Province, together with Priverno to talk about cyber bullying.

The series of meetings at the “Don Andrea Santoro” Comprehensive Institute in Priverno has concluded, having as its theme of Legality, Bullying, Cyber ​​Bullying and the prevention of phenomena related to violence at school and online, which concerned the 3rd and 2nd classes of the secondary school of the same institute.

These meetings, organized by the teachers of the Institute, took place on 1 and 3 March 2024 and saw as speakers the Director of the Terracina Police Station and the staff of the Police Station who usually address the topics covered and saw the participation of approximately 150 students.

The event has received wide participation and attention from the children present who were able to speak with the State Police personnel and address the various issues related to safety and the prevention of the types of crime of their interest, in particular with reference to the spy episodes of bullying and cyber-bullying contexts and the consequences that can derive from such attitudes.

Particular attention was paid by the operators in explaining to the young participants the dangers linked to the use of the internet and the consequent need to adopt "conscious navigation" online and on social media, as well as making people understand the work carried out by the State Police and the importance of promptly alerting the Police Force, of filing a complaint if they are victims of crime or simply spectators of delinquent episodes.
