Latina, the new door-to-door waste collection service started this morning by ABC - Latina Municipal Goods Company which will involve around 20 thousand citizens. The Mayor Damiano Coletta, together with the Councilor for the Environment Dario Bellini and the General Director of ABC Silvio Ascoli, was present at the first light of dawn at the departure of the vehicles from the headquarters of the special company «to share with all the workers – he declares the first citizen – this moment is historic and at the same time so emotional."
«It is a key day for the future of the city – continues Mayor Coletta – because today we see the first step of a project taking place whose results will benefit the entire community. The objective is to build a new culture in waste management in Latina and bring a virtuous system into operation that can bring our city's recycling levels towards excellence as soon as possible. It is an ambitious path that we wanted with all our strength and which was not without obstacles. We will continue on the path undertaken as we have done up to now, convinced that we have made the right choices because they are always oriented towards the good of the community.
