In Oristano the event “Àmana sounds between earth and sky”.
Is called “Àmana, sounds between earth and sky” the event scheduled for Saturday 24 September at 19pm in Piazza Roma and organized by the Culture Department of the Municipality of Oristano in collaboration with the Oristano Foundation, the Pro loco and the Sardinia Foundation.
From the top of the Tower of San Cristoforo, electronic music will merge with the classical sound of a string trio, while at the base of the tower the images of the performance will be offered to the public via video walls.
«Àmana it is an event that stands out as one of the most important of this edition of Oristano September - Explains the Councilor for Culture, tourism and entertainment Luca Faedda -. It will be an original musical production which, in addition to offering good music, aims to enhance the Mariano Tower, with absolute respect for the symbolic monument of the city. Giangi Cappai, DJ and musician, will select musical pieces, play the electronic keyboard, and will be accompanied by a string trio fusing electronic and classical music. The musicians will perform from the top floor of the Mariano Tower, taking advantage of the passage of light at dusk. The images of the performance will be broadcast from a giant screen positioned at the foot of the tower».
«We imagined and designed this formula for the show itself and for the suggestion that it will be able to offer live on Saturday evening, but also and perhaps above all for what it will be able to offer later on the web – continues Councilor Faedda -. The images will in fact be relaunched on the web, making the most of the beauty of the scenery offered by the medieval tower and Piazza Roma combined with the performances of the artists and the quality of the music, promoting Oristano through the suggestion of the union between the music and the scenography offered by the tower medieval».
