“Walking in the Middle Ages… in the footsteps of the Griffin” returns to Grosseto

“Walking in the Middle Ages… in the footsteps of the Griffin” returns to Grosseto.
Everything is ready for the second edition of “Walking through the Middle Ages…in the footsteps of the Griffin”, the event organized by the municipal administration of Grosseto in collaboration with the CCN, the UISP Grosseto Committee, the Pro Loco and the city cultural centers with museums.
The appointment is for 16 and 17 September in the historic center, within the Medici walls. For two days the city will travel back in time with costume parades and themed events. The Atelier You created and the Training School Aphorism they will take care of the costumes and hairstyles of the figures of the Grosseto company.
The event aims to unite the activities of the various historical companies of the province with the capital city which, in this case, acts as spokesperson for all the realities to enhance their peculiarities. The Municipality of Grosseto has undertaken to set up the first historical city group, now made up of 16 participants. The initiative is accompanied by other collateral activities, such as themed workshops for children organized by the Tesauro Cooperative, the historical-sports walk of the UISP, book presentations and guided tours organized by the Natural Shopping Center and the Le Orme Cooperative.
Thanks to the participation of companies that work for the safeguard and protection of the "0 kilometer" agri-food and wine heritage, the food and wine products of the area will then be promoted with the restaurants in the historic center which will prepare typical local menus for the occasion .
