Grosseto: “Move to feel free”, the project entirely dedicated to sport returns.

The project restarts this year too Move to feel free, which since 2014 has been dedicated to social integration through the practice of sports of minors between the ages of 5 and 14 who, belonging to families in conditions of socio-economic hardship, would not otherwise have the opportunity.

The project, which has always received great consensus and support from both citizens and sports clubs, presents itself this year in a renewed guise.

The first important innovation concerns the ISEE access range which, from a maximum of 6 euros in recent years, is raised to 500 euros, in order to guarantee broader participation. Innovations also regarding sports clubs: of the 15 companies that joined the project, some did not place limits on registrations, thus making it possible to satisfy all requests for those specific sports activities. Like previous years, the kids who take advantage of the project will be able to practice their favorite sport for free and will be supported by sports clubs who will provide them with everything necessary to carry out the activity itself.

“Once again, therefore, the Municipality of Grosseto is betting on the social role of sport – declare the mayor Antonfrancesco Vivarelli Colonna and the social councilor Sara Minozzi – as a point of reference for development and education, thanks to which children and the children will be able to develop their ability to live in a group and feel part of a specific social context”.

For all interested families, starting from Monday 2 October up to and including Tuesday 31 October, it will be possible to collect the application form from the social services offices of the Municipality of Grosseto in via degli Apostoli 11, from Monday to Friday from 10am to 12,30pm – Tuesday and Thursday also from 15pm to 17pm.
